Group Health & Safety Week 2026: reinforcing a shared safety culture across all Cementir sites

On the occasion of World Day for Health & Safety at Work on April 28, Cementir Holding launches Group Health & Safety Week 2026, across all sites. This annual initiative serves as an important reminder of the central role that health and safety play in daily operations and of the shared responsibility to keep workplaces safe.

Cementir’s focus on Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) is a core corporate responsibility that requires constant attention and continuous renewal.
This year’s Health & Safety Week focuses on strengthening the reporting and evaluation of safety events, including incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions. By encouraging open and transparent reporting, the Group aims to improve risk awareness and prevent future occurrences.

The initiative also supports the development of a culture of learning and continuous improvement. To this end, Cementir has introduced smart digital tools, including a mobile app, designed to make safety reporting easier and more efficient. These tools enable faster information sharing, improved coordination and enhanced risk management in the field. Digitalization is a key enabler of a proactive safety culture and supports more informed decision-making every day.

Health and safety are, by nature, collective values and responsibilities. Cementir promotes a culture in which everyone is encouraged to take proactive steps to safeguard their own well-being, as well as that of colleagues, suppliers, and the environment. By fostering trust, learning, and accountability, everyone can collectively contribute to the common goal of safety.

Strong reporting practices, robust event evaluation, and effective use of digital solutions are all vital to strengthening the Group’s safety performance.
Group Health & Safety Week represents a key opportunity to learn, improve, and care for one another, reaffirming that safety is not just a compliance requirement but a core value for the entire organization.

“Safety Attitude. Each of us, for all of us.”
